Hope your weekend is going well!
I’m reaching out today with an important company and personal update. (It’s good though, I promise lol)
I will share two key things:
- What is happening with CE and The Pulse, and how I feel about a few related things.
- What we are working on and what’s coming next.
OK, let’s dive in.
You have likely noticed that at CE and The Pulse we have not been producing the amount of content we normally do for over a year now.
There are several reasons for this.
- Demonetization and censorship since 2017 has shrunk our team drastically. Eventually, I had to let everyone go, and thus our production has gone down. As of 2023, putting up daily content and covering A LOT of stories like we used to became impossible. It takes a lot of time to do good journalism and research, especially if you don’t just copy what someone else says in their article/video. So we slowed big time.
But wait there’s more…
- In the process of demonetization and losing something I put my heart and soul into for 15 years, there is a lot of sadness and grief. I’m a community and team guy, it’s my nature. To have no consistent team to work with has been devastating.
Grief comes in waves. Grief when trying to ‘make everything work’ and pivot constantly, and confusion, loneliness and frustration when nothing works. In the end, this slowed down production too.
Still more…
- There has been a felt sense that some of what we do feels stale and outdated for us. Primarily journalism and creating A LOT of weekly content.
Over the last 15 years, we have contributed immensely to sensemaking and awareness around the topics of building a new paradigm, UFOs/ETs, consciousness, personal transformation, quantum physics, vaccines, new societal design, exploring current events (9/11, deep state, politics etc.) and more.
We’ve written over 11,000 articles, produced 5 documentaries, and hundreds of videos.
These topics were all fringe once and we were attacked aggressively for bringing them up. Now, however, they are OK to discuss en mass. That’s great!
I like to think that after having our content viewed almost 2 billion times over the last 15 years that we played a big role in helping to make these topics popular and part of everyday discussion.
But also, after doing so much, it was tough to be left behind and kicked to the curb by our industry peers and colleagues when we asked for help in a time of need.
This community of independent media, and even some of the transformation space, is filled with all the same game dynamics, dominance, competition, lying etc. as the “mainstream culture” they are exposing.
A new way of being is not really emerging and being embodied. For some, it’s posturing. It’s a marketing tactic.
I say this bit for two reasons:
- It’s part of our story. It’s true for us. It has been sad to have helped so many people in this field grow, become well known, and make a living, yet turn their backs when we needed something. We always treated people how we wanted to be treated and while this was returned from time to time, it was mostly not.
What does this say about the true nature of those working to create a better world? Are we actually embodying that? Or are we just trying to win at the economic and popularity game?
This points to the need to culturally embrace inner transformation, not just talk about it.
- This is not the world we want to create, nor one that will help us collectively create a thriving world for all of humanity. I want to see a world where people love and appreciate each other. Where hard work and impact are recognized, appreciated, and collaboration births.
That said, I think this feeling of staleness with journalism and creating A LOT of weekly content is not just about being booted from this field, but also about something deeper too…
I’ll explain.
When CE started in 2009 it was at a time when finding good, coherent, and grounded discussion around many of the above topics was REALLY hard to find.
It was fresh, cutting-edge, and new. Along with others in this field who have done great work, we initiated something that is now… quite frankly at a stage of saturation.
A new wave of people, influencers, academics, and celebrities are now feeling the permission space to discuss these topics on YouTube, Instagram, podcasts etc in the form of media and journalism. And that’s good!
In truth, we always envisioned helping to shift culture toward expanding our minds beyond the mainstream consensus when it comes to all of these topics.
Now things have changed so much in the information space, we’re going back to the other 2 core elements of our work that culture has not picked up on as much: practical inner transformation and exploring new societal design.
One of the big projects I was most excited about was one we launched in 2010 before it quickly came to a halt.
It was focused on holding space for discussion around new societal design, future solutions and the inner transformation to go with it. It was all held in the grounded concept that we need to collectively embrace an unfolding transition, not some magical overnight systems change that would happen automatically.
As Barbara Marx Hubbard suggested, we need to consciously create our new direction.
The solutions we were exploring weren’t about buying a piece of land somewhere and escaping society, they were focused more on real collective change that affects everyone.
We’re going to increase our focus on embodying and creating a new future. Being a thriving and regenerative human being, helping to emerge a new future in simple yet impactful ways. Building the skills to thrive and to converse and make sense of our world effectively.
I don’t think the timing was right back then for that project. But now feels much better.
What To Expect From Here Forward
After all this time, we still have a very large audience hungry for content, and I am grateful to be able to serve you in the best way we can.
You can expect…
- Essays/articles about bigger picture discussions, transformation and future on CE and The Pulse. But with less frequency until we get more resources again. We won’t be covering journalistic topics anymore. We’ll leave that to others.
- I have been studying and training for the last 4.5 years in the realm of nervous system health and trauma (trauma is a fancy way of saying stored and accumulated stress). This field made sense to me because when you consider what it would take for humanity to thrive, we have to understand our being and biology.
When I couple this with my decades-long exploration of spirituality, healing traditions and consciousness something incredible emerges: insight into what humans truly need to thrive and how we can heal from the onslaught of stress our existing world is exposing us to.
From here we also begin to see how we can truly PRACTICE building capacity and resilience to navigate the times ahead.
I know, this type of work has always been a big focus of our work at CE, but I felt that DEEPLY diving into this would bring even more science, clarity and confidence to the subject. I have Irene Lyon to thank A LOT for her mentorship in this space.
With all that said, I have been and will continue production on articles, courses, events and webinars focused on transformation in this way.
This will serve to help create a culture of stress reduction, resilience and capacity to navigate our currently chaotic times. This will help us become and embody the future humans our world is calling us to be.
This is HONESTLY the foundation of creating change and I feel too many are focusing almost entirely on exploring current events and not enough on the actual transformation.
- I have been working with various individuals (and some on my own) in creating projects, content and courses around embracing ‘what’s next’ for society. This relates to innovative ideas and culture, inspiring ideas around societal design and how we can transition there. The goal is to expand our feelings and knowing of what’s possible instead of circling in the same old limiting social designs that are leading us toward self-termination.
Where we collectively head will be a co-creation. No one person or group is going to direct where the world heads, but space needs to be held to explore ideas that inspire us and allow us to envision something other than the same old.
Expect reports, courses, programs, research, white papers, and perhaps short docu pieces on these subjects. Again, less content, but higher impact.
I truly hope to collaborate as much as possible during this next era of CE. I have been connecting with some great souls and people whose integrity is truly in the right place. I’m excited for what’s next!
Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us all these years, supporting us to keep this work going, and sending letters of gratitude along the way. You are why we are still here – your love has been hugely impactful. I hope you stay with us and come along for what’s next… even though it’s pretty similar to the past lol
If you have any thoughts or feelings to share, you can reach out to us at members@collective-evolution.com
That’s it, that’s all, and much love.
