In an interview with Jeff Berwick on his platform Anarchast Radio, I had the chance to speak about a number of important topics including conscious media, online censorship and de-monetization, a shift in power taking place, fear of change, going beyond the need for governance, cosmological influences, and how we’re living in the most incredible time in human history -at least in my opinion 😉
One of the aspects of these discussions closest to my heart right now is conscious media, the very thing I have spent the last 10 years of my life exploring, tinkering with and humbly attempting to perfect to help shift consciousness in our world. So before we get to this interview, I want to talk about a few important things we’re doing to truly change the world of news and media.
We’re Evolving Media
You see, when people think about the world, truth and things like exploring truth, they often deeply separate it from something like consciousness or spirituality. This has never resonated with me. For me, what happens in our world and the things that take place, even in current affairs, are a reflection of our consciousness. They provide us with insight into what our individual and collective consciousness are creating.
In short, I deeply feel the world needs news and media that is created with consciousness in mind. We have to look at why things are playing out and how they actually affect us or come from us. For example, and we’ve been saying this for many years now, when we look at the world of politics what do we see? A childish fight or banter back and forth that draws in millions and millions of people to identify with one side or another. As a result, we fight with one another, argue, get upset, fail to see others’ viewpoints and point blank: we fail to see the truth of our world.
This leaves us spinning our tires year in and year out, while the media continues to perpetuate this divide and these fights through their rhetoric. But did we ever stop to ask the questions, why do we keep showing up to vote when nothing changes? Why do we become so identified with a political side that we no longer can see others viewpoints? Has this game of politics ever helped or changed anything deep and meaningful? Is it time for us to evolve beyond a system that TRULY doesn’t work in peace’s favor? I speak about this particular topic much more deeply in a recent podcast I did on The Collective Evolution Podcast here.
Speaking about our political arena from this point of view, as opposed to the bickering and bantering of tiny details that crowd the mainstream and alternative media, is where conscious media comes in. We are viewing things on a deeper, more meaningful level, that ends the insanity of repeating the same cycles over and over expecting change. Conscious media challenges us to wake up, not just to truth in our world, but to ourselves.
Our Style of Conscious Media
As our About Us page states:
Collective Evolution is a conscious media and education company focused on helping to shift our world through two key avenues:
News Media – Reporting on world events through a truly neutral lens, and exploring the role these events play in the evolution of human consciousness.
Consciousness Education – Providing viewers with the solutions and tools necessary to build self-awareness, expand consciousness, connect with self and be an integral part of shifting our world.
We’ve chosen to do things in this manner because we’re ready and actively creating a shift in consciousness. It begins with ourselves as people, moves into our work and emanates out into the public space where we all access it, expand upon and act on it. We deeply feel there needs to be media that reflects the consciousness shift that is taking place, and paves the way for thinking that pulls us out of the confines and limitations of the ever repeating cycles we find ourselves in with mainstream and alternative media.
Yes, I said it, even most alternative media, while their viewpoints can sometimes be contrary to the mainstream, is stuck in, and supporting, an old paradigm.
So as we evolve as people, instead of turning away from that which is happening in our world, which is part of WHY WE ARE HERE, we have created CE as a platform to allow us to still observe what’s happening, evolve from it and engage in conversation that helps us all to collectively evolve through it. It never sufficed me to just say “ah well I’m awakening now, so I’m too good for what goes on in our world, I block that stuff out. That’s all negative stuff.” This is spiritual bypassing at its finest. Perhaps the way mainstream and alternative media views things at times, it may feel or come across as negative. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can bring neutrality into this space.
Conscious media reminds us that there is personal/spiritual work to be done in our lives to help change our immediate lives and change our world. The consciousness education aspect of our work helps to bring this practice into being.
The Interview
Without further adiue, here is the interview I did with Jeff Berwick where we discuss many things, including conscious media and the role it plays in our current times. Enjoy!
