Although many who visit our website have probably already seen this, it’s definitely worth sharing as it is a major eye opener.
The video was made by Spencer Cathcart, it’s a short film that questions our freedom, the education system, corporations, money and more.
It’s a great eye opener that touches upon various topics. Its primary intention is not to paint a negative picture, but to instead encourage us to wake up, and question the current human experience. The time for change is here. Now is our window of opportunity to begin shifting the planet in a new direction. We’ve come a long way last 6-7 years, the world has definitely gone through some major changes and it’s very clear that more people are “waking up.” I look forward to how much more progress we will make as we move through 2015 and beyond.
Much of the information in this video will resonate with many, but when it comes time to make the change in their own life, it’s hard. We’ve become so used to the system, so enslaved by it that there are still those who will fight to justify and defend it.

What Are We Doing Here On Planet Earth?
One great point that’s made in the video is how we all live the same lives. We are born, we go to school, we don’t learn anything about the planet, we are simply prepared to enter into the workforce. After that, we wake up, go to work, come home, pay bills, and repeat this cycle until our death. Sure, there is lots of room to experience joy, enjoy what you do, have a family and so on, but we’ve become so attached and caught up in this cycle that it’s prevented us from questioning anything about what it is we do, why we do it, and what is happening to the planet while we are doing it. We’ve become slaves to the system, having to worry about putting food in our stomachs, paying our bills, and providing for our families so much so that we do not have time to focus on anything else. Basic necessities like food, water and shelter could easily be provided to everybody on the planet, we can put everyone in a position to thrive yet this type of “utopia” is prevented and discouraged.
Imagine how much our race would develop, advance and thrive if all human beings were provided the basic necessities. Our potential is limitless. Through my work in this field, one thing I find to stand out the most is the fact that people have a hard time accepting the fact that there are groups of people in “high” positions of power who do not want to see us thrive. They control all of the world’s resources, and perpetuate/create war for their own greedy financial interests and other agendas. In the meantime, in the wake of all of this global conflict that is created and perpetuated (war, hunger, poverty, sickness) we’ve failed to realize that the explanations behind these phenomena are completely bogus, and that we’ve been living in a world where deception and mass brainwashing of the human race has allowed us to accept, allow and justify what is happening.
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: if we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan
All of the world’s resources lie in the hands of a small group of corporations, and what we see coming from our food, health, financial, energy (and more) system is something that does not resonate with the majority of people the planet, yet it continues. We do not live in a democracy, we live in a “corporatocracy” where corporations dictate government policy. Something is clearly wrong here, and that fact is being made clear with more intensity every year. We are on quite the ride right now on planet Earth, and things are just going to continue to intensify as new information that challenges the beliefs of many will continue to surface.
At the end of the day, power does not lie in the hands of “them,” it lies in the hands of us. We can choose to change this experience anytime we want.
awesome video clip!
Somebody start a movement then 🙂
Remember Occupy Wall Street? That was your movement of the people, by the people and for the people. But most of us just watched it from the sidelines. If we had all joined it, we would be living in a different world right now.
We need to obstruct and virtually stop the world banking family, that own over 100 different country banks fom taking over the world’s assets, which they will do in due time. This is crux of the world’s downfall as we know it.
What a wonderful video, Arjun. The connectivity is the missing link. From the beginning, we are being taught, taught and taught. There is no space for asking new questions. A child is always full of questions. He doesn’t believe in following a straight path. He loves the company of his thoughts. As we grow, we burn down all these questions and follow the system.
The system needs to be changed as we are lacking the curiosity element. We need to come out of shitty trap of corporates and big chains. Instead of controlling the resources, we must connect with inner joy. We are being taught about creating remote connections. But, nobody talks about close connections. By appreciating small things in our life, we will definitely come out the big illusions
As a charity begins at home, love begins at our inner home. We need to shift our thinking from consumer to an individual. Before becoming a blind follower, we must rule our inner kingdom. Ya, you are right. Joy is the best solution for eliminating all miseries.
The truth about our reality… I loved the message and the video!
Live simply. In the words of Levon Helm… you take what you need and you leave the rest…stop supporting these corporations by buying their “things” We don’t need them. Support organic farming, get healthy, be kind, laugh a lot, accept everyone. LOVE yourself.
Boy, this is grim! Although much of it is true, the approach “us vs them” is too simplistic, leaves little feeling of hope. In truth, most things are BETTER now than in the past, and while new problems surface, none of them are insurmountable. Fear and hopelessness are the enemies, and yeah, we’re all gonna die, but I for one am much more optimistic about things than this video is.
Thanks for commenting, I definitely do not resonate with the us vs them mentality, and I believe I touched upon that within the article.
Thanks for the video, straight to the point. Awakening needs to spreaded more via internet throughout the world. It needs to start from somewhere and we all have reponsibilities doing that. Thank you for being a part of it. Peace and love.
I would love to share this at my blog :)) well, I’m visitor from Indonesian, so I translate this into my language 🙂

Powerful message. Arjun. The video is just epic straight on truth. I know of many online communities and online friends who ‘get’ this message, yet very few awakened folks in real life. Would like to connect locally with folks who understand this message, who are awake and not dancing amid illusions, to be a part of the solution beyond social media shares and such. I mean social media is important as a potential change agent, yet where are the awake people in real life?
I pray you are correct that more people are waking up, sometimes it seems that way but for me I get that feeling mainly online. Maybe that’s because we can filter that input, choose to follow certain kinds of people and groups such as this one. SO crucial and yet I get offline and walk around town feeling like an alien, watching people living illusions and simply refuse to open their eyes.
They not only don’t know but stubbornly do not even WANT to know, even close friends. That feels empty, like living among people who speak a language foreign to me … I mean HOW can you NOT want to know about issues of such epic importance? I roll my eyes, wanna be beamed up… and find some semblance of reason on my computer screen. Thanks for what you do. Salute!
I am feeling you Carolan, all my life I have felt like the ‘weird’ one. I am glad to see these messages getting out there and hopefully more people will take this on board and make changes in their own lives. Keep your chin up. We are not alone.
The other day I responded to someone who talked about wanting their freedom – and I sort of went off into well, nearly a short book on how from the moment we were born, we are never free. I have argued so many of these points with people – too many times, now I will just send them here ! This film makes my point pretty clear !
THANK YOU !
Guess what… I’m throwing my hat in the ring. You’re going to see a lot of change very soon.
Basic necessities like food, shelter and water for all. Sounds like hmmm yup utopia!! But I’m wondering – – Who is going to WORK to grow, harvest, package, and deliver this food to my door? Who is going to WORK to cut timber and make the 2X4’s to build this house for me? Who is going to WORK to make the windows, toilets, sinks, cabinets, tables, chairs, beds and a multitude of other things that goes into making my house including the door I’m going to open to have all my food delivered to me.
Now water. Lets throw in gas and electricity too. I’m sure most of us use one or both and consider those necessities. Takes ALOT of WORK from many people to get these services from their scorce to our homes. Takes a massive amount of equipment that is manufactured in our factories to pipe that water and gas to our homes. Electricity – well we all know that it takes so much equipment and LABOR to deliver what electricity affords us in our home and life. Want to give up compurers, phones, TV’s, furnaces, air conditioners, stoves, refrigerators, LIGHT and so many other conveniences electricity gives us?
Want to get rid of the manufactures, factories and big conglomerates? That does not bode well for my receiving the food, shelter, water, gas and electricity, I don’t want to live in a mud hut with a dirt floor, no bed or chair and where the heck am I going to plug in my computer so I can connect with humanity across the world? Are we to go back to candles after dark? Are we to barter with each other instead of using money? After we rape all the money from the corporations, – ( definition of a corporation – – many people who have WORKED very hard to achieve their jobs, from the mail room to the corporate office or invested their hard earned money into the corporation in hopes of realising a profit), what then? Who do we go after next to realise this utopia you speak of? There are not enough rich corporations in this world to house, feed and supply water, gas and electricity to every human on this earth.
I wish it were so. I’m all for peace on earth and goodwill towards man. I’m all for the utopia you speak of. I’m just wondering about the delails. Have you worked them out?
