Councillor to Barack Obama, and former Chief of Staff at the White House under the Clinton administration, John Podesta, recently tweeted that his biggest regret ending the 2014 campaign was not being able to secure the disclosure of (still) classified UFO documents. (source)
Podesta, who has been a long time advocate for the release of UFO documents has made public statements on the matter before, so it’s good to see him doing it again. In 2002, Podesta spoke at a news conference held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where he urged the U.S. government to declassify UFO documents that are more than 25 years old.
“I think it’s time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark, on the question of government investigations of UFOs, it’s time to find out what the truth really is that’s out there. We ought to do it because it’s right, we ought to do it because the American people, and people around the world quite frankly can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it’s the law.”- John Podesta (source)
It’s important to note that there are now hundreds of thousands of de-classified government UFO document’s available in the public domain. This is in large part thanks to the introduction of the United States Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Documents have also been released in dozens of other countries around the world, and more people within the political sphere have been raising their voice to the issue.
Podesta has also been quoted saying:
“I’m skeptical about many things, including the notion that government always knows best, and that the people can’t be trusted with the truth. The time to pull the curtain back on this subject is long overdue. We have statements from the most credible sources – those in a position to know – about a fascinating phenomenon, the nature of which is yet to be determined.” – John Podesta (taken from Leslie Kean’s 2010 New York Times bestseller, “UFOs: Generals, Pilots, And Government Officials Go On The Record,” where Podesta wrote the forward)
Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, a member of Congress for 14 years, serving Michigan’s 13th Congressional District was selected to serve on the Defence Sub-Committee of Appropriations early in her career. She recently expressed that other countries have already disclosed the existence of extraterrestrials, and that the United States should do the same. (source)
What Do The Documents That Have Been Released Already Say?
Podesta’s statements bring up an important point. Even though hundreds of thousands of documents are already in the public domain, a large majority of them are old. There still remains a number of documents that remain classified.
From the documents we do have, none of them have at all proved the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life, but they do confirm and prove the existence of UFO’s, and the high level of interest from governments/military/intelligence agencies.
There are many examples where objects have been tracked on radar, and at the same time confirmed visually by military pilots. The objects in some cases have interfered with electrical equipment inside of the jets, have traveled at tremendous speeds, and have used methods and performed maneuvres that defy our current laws of physics. They do things in the air that no known human aircraft is capable of doing. I wrote an article where I sourced some of these documents and elaborated on more. You can read that HERE, just so I don’t have to repeat myself.
What Does This Mean?
The documents that we do have (mentioned in previous paragraphs) show that since these crafts are performing maneuvers no known aircraft on Earth can perform, maneuvers that defy our known understanding of physics, and since they appear to be intelligently or remotely controlled – then they must be from another civilization, or from a secret “classified” sect within our race concealing information from the public domain, in other words our own technology. I’d also mention that there is a good deal of evidence pointing to the idea that some of these UFOs are indeed extraterrestrial in origin. For more on that topic you can check out our exopolitics section HERE.
For an article regarding the recently disclosed ‘Black Budget’ from Edward Snowden, click HERE. It’s important to note that this type of topic goes above and beyond the control of the President.
It’s also noteworthy to add that not everything is a conspiracy, that there are “good” people inside of the government/military industrial complex that want to see things change for the better.
It means that there are technological, scientific breakthroughs available that could assist us in changing things on our planet from the way we generate energy, to the way we fly and much much more. If some of these crafts are extraterrestrial, then that opens up millions of other questions from history, to science and to our understanding regarding the nature of reality itself. It seems to be inevitable -disclosure that is.
“An extraterrestrial influence is investigating our planet. Something is monitoring the planet and they are monitoring it very cautiously.” (source) – Former Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Alaska), and 2008 presidential candidate
“I must say that if your listeners could see for themselves the mass of reports coming in from airborne gendarmerie, and from the gendarmerie charged with the job of conducting investigations, all of which reports are being forwarded by us to the CNES (National Center for Space Studies), then they would see that it is all pretty disturbing.” – Former French Minister of Defense, Robert Galley (Dolan, Richard. UFOs For the 21st Century Mind: New York: Richard Dolan Press, 2014))
“Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about the direction we were heading and offered to help. Instead, some of us interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.” –Former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyer (source)

I think a lot of people were optimistic when Podesta was brought in to help advise the Obama Administration hoping it would push for official Disclosure as he has gone on record and advocated this need for the truth himself.
This whole topic of “Are we alone?” seems pretty apparent for anyone paying attention. Way too much evidence by highly credible witnesses to say there is nothing to it.
I feel this issue is critical to pushing us into this next paradigm shift and making this whole planet self reflect on our actions and the future we have set up for ourselves. Once it is openly accepted that life is abundant beyond this planet we can take the necessary steps for meaningful change. And upon this realization we will see that there are other, better means for energy and travel that are holding our civilization back. Which is why there is such opposition to the truth because various institutions power and control will hinge on this reality. It feels like we are on the verge of this realization.
I tend to agree with you but what holds that back is the need for people with money and power to keep that money and power. With this in mind, I dont think this will happen anytime soon. Things will have to get a lot worse before they get better. I hope I am wrong, I really do
Great that he opened that topic but, unfortunately, he’s just another one in the political cabal running the govt. I am sure he and whoever else could open these files if they wanted to. This may be just another sleight of hand maneuver; pay attention to all they’re doing. He’s running Hillary’s campaign now so we have more of the same circus coming up.
Podesta calls this his biggest regret during 2014. It is more like a failure of catastrophic proportions. Also… is he telling us that he has had bigger regrets in other years. What, did he forget to tell the world about the 2nd coming of Christ? Podesta is nothing more than a politician and his intellectual bank is empty. He utters these words to signal the world that he is important and smart. What a sorry excuse for a politician and what a lame comment to make.
You must work for the Government.
Yes , Mr. Podesta certainly understates the enormity of the UFO secrecy issue, but I think he has at least accomplished more than previous Presidential ”insiders” by bringing this taboo topic to the for-front at all.
I understand he now intends to work on Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
He MIGHT get another chance to redeem himself in history by helping to bring about disclosure of the biggest
story (and coverup) in human history.
Obama, like all other Presidents since FDR, has the duty to both find out the true facts about likely ET visitation (he’s the leader of the free world, for pete sakes!), and to release the true situation to mankind–for better
or for worse.
Although I think Obama has accomplished much more good than he’s generally given credit for, he has (at least so far) sadly dropped the ball on this issue.
Yeah. He’s done much good. Like destroying health care, our our economy, our relationships with allies around the world, race relations, or country’s morale, our trust in the workings of government… Good, good.
I’m of the opinion that the world NEEDS this disclosure.
That really sucks.
That’s funny that a soft comment on aliens/UFO’s would come near the end of Obama’s 2nd and final term in office… I’ll go with my gut and say Clinton will be the one to have “First Contact” for all the world to see with aliens…
Just like someone stated in a article I have read in the past 3 months… Man they need better scripts written to follow, this is worse that Days of our Lives…

Reputable astronomers have said the distances are too great to travel between star systems, and the universe is expanding at a rate that essentially rules out any possibility of travel between systems! It makes for great science fiction, not science fact!!
