Ninety percent of the products we see on grocery store shelves today are loaded with processed and nutrition-less ingredients. The hard truth is that these ingredients are killing us one bite at a time. They are addictive and cunningly sleuth, usually masked by an array of creative but misleading advertising schemes.
However, there’s one amazing fact about our health that many of us forget from time to time. The fact is this- we all have 100% control over what we choose to put into our bodies! It’s a simple and empowering fact that we all need reminding of, and today is that day.
To help you take back your power and regain autonomy over your health, here is a list of the 10 worst food ingredients to never eat again to ensure your body is as toxin free as it should be.
1) Sodium Benzoate
What’s the deal?: A common food preservative that prevents the growth of mold and yeasts. When combined with vitamins C or E, it produces the carcinogen benzene. Sodium benzoate deprives our mitochondria (cellular energy-makers) of oxygen. It has also been linked to hyperactivity in children.
What’s it found in?: Juices, pickles, sodas, pre-made salad dressings, condiments.
2) BHA & BHT (Butylated hydroxyanisole & butylated hydroxytoluene)
What’s the deal?: A preservative that prevents the breakdown of fats. The National Institute of Health states that BHT/BHA are “reasonably anticipated to be human carcinogens.” A natural replacement that does the same job in preserving food would be vitamin E, which you may see more of in the natural food section of your grocery store.
What’s it found in?: Potato chips, lard, butter, cereal, instant mashed potatoes, preserved meat, beer, baked goods, dry beverage and dessert mixes, chewing gum and other foods.
3) MSG (Monosodium glutamate)
What’s the deal?: A flavour enhancer which is known to damage the appetite regulation center in the area of the brain known as the hypothalamus, causing leptin resistence and thereby eliminating the feeling of being “full.” It’s known as an excitotoxin, a chemical which overstimulates dopamine production, creating a drug-like ‘rush.’ MSG also promotes liver inflammation and dysplasia.
What’s it found in?: Canned and boxed soups, dried soup mixes, frozen prepared meals, canned prepared meals, fast food, junk food, chinese food, stew, chili, canned beans, salad dressing.
4) Artificial Sweeteners
What’s the deal?: Used as a replacement for sugar, artificial sweeteners have recently been found to change the huge colony of bacteria in our intestines to favor the harmful bacteria that increase risk for diabetes and obesity. A study also found that women drinking two diet sodas per day are 50 percent more likely to die from heart-related disease.
What’s it found in?: Low-calorie yogurts, flavoured water, juices, gum, diet sodas, snack foods. (Common artificial sweeteners: ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, ASPARTAME, GLYCEROL, HSH, ISOMALT, LACTITOL, MALTITOL, POLYDEXTROSE, SACCHARIN, SORBITOL, SUCRALOSE)
5) Potassium Bromate
What’s the deal?: A food additive used in bread-making to soften and bleach the dough. Potassium bromate is banned in countries such as Canada, Brazil, and China because of it’s carcinogenic properties. It is particularly known to induce renal and thyroid cancer. Although most potassium bromate breaks down during the baking process, tests have confirmed that trace amounts can remain in finished baked goods.
What’s it found in?: Fast-food sandwich buns, pre-made frozen pizzas, popular name brand doughs, processed baked goods.
6) Acrylamide
What’s the deal?: Acrylamide is a carcinogenic chemical that is a by-product of high temperature processing.
What’s it found in?: Foods heated above 120 degrees celsius. Fried foods such as potatoes chips and french fries. Cigarette smoke also contains acrylamide.
7) Sodium Nitrite or Nitrate
What’s the deal?: Salt preservative used primarily in processed meat preservation. Nitrates and Nitrites have been linked to pancreatic cancer in rats.
What’s it found in?: Breakfast sausage, hot dogs, jerkies, bacon, lunch meat and even meats in canned soup products.
8) High Fructose Corn Syrup
What’s the deal?: A processed and refined sugar extracted from corn, known to contribute to diabetes, metabolic syndrome, mercury build-up and more. Americans consume more calories from HFCS than any other source.
What’s it found in?: Sodas, candy, snack bars, concentrated juices, processed cereals, coffee syrups, icing, condiments.
9) Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO)
What’s the deal?: BVO is a food additive that keeps citrus flavoring from separating in sodas and sports drinks. The additive is still legal in the US, even though it’s banned in the European Union, Japan and Australia because it contains bromine, the element found in flame retardants that has been linked to nerve issues. Earlier this year, Fanta, Mountain Dew and Gatorade all announced that they’d remove BVO from their products, but some generic soda brands still use it, so look closely at the ingredient list. (Or better yet, skip the soft drink and enjoy some refreshing water instead.)
What’s it found in?: Sodas and sports drinks.
10) Blue, Green, Red & Yellow
What’s the deal?: The artificial colours blue 1 and 2, green 3, red 3, and yellow 6 have been linked to thyroid, adrenal, bladder, kidney, and brain cancers.
What’s it found in?: Colourful candy, cereal, chocolate bars, Kraft dinner, juices, sports drinks.
A Helpful Tip
One of the best ways to avoid all of these ingredients is to buy 100% organic. Organic food production abides by strict guidelines which ensure our food doesn’t contain harmful chemical additives. Although organic food prices may be higher than non-organic, by purchasing 100% organic you are ensuring a higher quality of life without unnecessary toxins building up in your body, and really, what better investment is there than your own health?
Much love!

The solution here to eat all organic is a laudable goal but not everyone can do this. Eating “real food” will also eliminate these additives. A good rule of thumb is if a comes in a package or a box, it’s not real. A lot of food such as chips, prepared entrees, and cold cereals aren’t “real” or healthy even if they are from the “health” food store.
So I have to start all over again.. 🙂
Corn syrup is also a GMO food. That reason, and no other, is why I avoid it. But it is VERY hard to avoid. It’s in nearly EVERYTHING.
Deane, you are speaking truth and wisdom.
Your intentions are certainly good and helpful, but it would be wise to do more research and read into the clinical trials and scientific meta reviews. You might be surprised what you learn about MSG and (some) artificial sweeteners.
What was NOT mentioned about MSG is the fact that it makes thousands of people physically ill. It can cause anything from upset stomach, rashes, to severe migraine headaches.
MSG makes “thousands” of people physically ill. Well, lots of things make THOUSANDS of people physically ill.
However, let’s weigh the “thousands” against the fact that there are more than 7 BILLION people on this planet. If only “thousands” of people are made ill by something, it seems to me that, for the vast majority of humans, that that something is generally harmless.
Also, MSG occurs naturally in kelp and other sea plants used for food around the world, as I understand it.
Where can I go to get the alternatives to replace these Items?
Nibiru
The demand for organic ( just a word for what we ate before our food became lab rats) is becoming higher and higher. There are farmers markets popping up more and more, organic & natural stores and tons of info on credible sites like
http://www.herbs-info.com/
Buying fresh and local is always best.
To limit waste I buy for a few days, not weeks, at a time.
Grow your own whenever possible.
Make your own whenever possible.
We have taken on so much to pay the bills ( that’s another rant altogether) we try to fit 24 hrs into 12 and that has us constantly reaching for the quick fix.
That is a choice. I don’t have time,,is a choice.
RESEARCH FOR YOU! Don’t rely on simply reading here & there.
The truth takes more than 10 minutes to find and sort through.
Most importantly, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS which will become stronger and stronger as you rid your body mind and soul of toxic foods, chemicals, beliefs, fear porn, control and self doubt.
Have a healthy happy weekend 🙂

Totally agree, but I have to point out that those syrups in the “corn syrup” picture don’t actually contain corn and are actually sugar-based (which doesn’t really make the, any better for you).
Umm yea I appreciate this list…but I have neither the money nor resources to buy food that DOESN’T contain this stuff. Its in EVERYTHING. If you have ample money to spend, the list is great. But otherwise, for the rest of us, there is no avoiding these ingredients.
If you don’t want to change the way you shop, cook, and eat, then yes, you have a valid point. The money isn’t the issue, though. You have a choice about how you spend you money: financially invest in your health upfront, or pay the financial cost of poor health later in life. If you shop for organic, non-gmo, ingredients, cook your own food, and think of food as fuel, then you can avoid food related diseases later. The fact that our bodies can run on the wrong fuel for years says more about our body than it does the food. Most of us have no idea the quality of life (health, energy, productivity, focus, youth) we could be having because we’re unwilling to educate ourselves and think about our food differently. It would take a degree in biological chemistry, a culinary degree, environmental science, atomic physics, human development, nutrition, horticulture, sustainable food and farming, and many others to get the full picture of the role our food plays inside our bodies.
We get lists like these and they annoy us because we know the products are in our cabinets and we feel our choice and sense of autonomy is threatened. We dismiss the claims without checking their validity because we feel fine and are tired of being told that we’re not. We’re used to the way we feel. But, you don’t know how many bodily functions, sensations, moods, cravings, weaknesses, and challenges are affected by your food choices. Without educating yourself, you can continue down the “ignorance is bliss” track and that’s a personal choice. I’m a stranger to you and my words mostly likely mean nothing. But, I’m also a huge advocate for education, especially when it leads to a positive change for the individual. A positive change for one person has a snowball affect that improves the lives for many. Meaning, a positive change in your consumer habits will ultimately be a positive change for my consumption choices. We all affect one another whether we know it, or intend it, or not.
If you’re still reading, then I’ll just send you in a direction that can ignite your curiosity and put a sense of purpose in your choices. It can be overwhelming, at first, so you can start small. Be inspired at your own pace. It’s pretty fascinating to start connecting the dots between farmers, consumers, corporations, lawn care, honey bees, ionic bonds, body fat, allergies, and how to heal yourself on the atomic level. You say that you don’t have a choice, but who stands to gain by limiting your choices? Who is making money off of your apathy? You should be angry, but don’t be angry at the ones trying to educate you. Be angry at the ones who are chemically and financially manipulating you.
Your life is full of choices. Dismiss these words and go back to the status quo, or you can turn on your Netflix and watch some interesting documentaries. Some that come highly recommended include Food Matters, Food, Inc., Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, and many more. Once you start looking into it, you’ll be able to guide your own tour because the information is easy to find. In the mean time, challenge yourself to a solid month of eating organically. You can find a plethora of recipes on Pinterest (these keywords will send you in the right direction: gluten free, non-gmo, Paleo, clean recipes, eating raw). You’ll have to look for organic ingredients, you’ll have to cook your own food, and you’ll have to stick to produce that is in season to keep your cost down. Getting started costs more than maintaining, but it won’t be long before you can vouch for the value of the effort.
Remember, you do have a choice. You have way more power than you think you do.
Wow! What a great answer! (:
Uh huh. Do you have any of these degrees? I have to say that all of the iformation I ever see that makes the claim that all of these things comes from sites called “collective evolution” or “spirit science.” A large number of these claims don’t even reference a study done to find them, and those that do, 95 times out of a hundred, cite studies that either have not been peer reviewed, or have actually been discredited by the scientific community at large.
I’m a stranger to you and my words mostly likely mean nothing. Add to that the fact that you don’t know me the issue that these beliefs are a religion to you, and you won’t consider how your speech of “being informed” and “educating yourself” is the worst sort of hypocrisy. Not everything you read on the internet is true, which you obviously are aware of. However, you seem to have taken that to mean, “The things you want to believe are true, and the others aren’t.”
You will now be thinking to apply that same phrase to me. Except when dealing with things that I am not educated to perform studies and experiments on for myself, I read the works of people who are, and what the larger community of people with said education have to say on the subject. Whereas, from your words, you listen to someone who is as uneducated as us, who maybe has a reference to one study that just came out and has no backing from the scientific community.
You people who make these counter arguments are actually making me laugh
Umm you totally didn’t read my reply. I don’t make enough money each month, while working 2 full time, jobs to purchase any foods that AREN’T on this bullshit list. Pretty much ANY FOOD you buy at ANY grocery store contains these ingredients. I have a 4 year college degree & still can’t afford “healthy food”. I would tell you to go fuck yourself, swoods. You sound like some Vegan, assbag tool who makes plenty of money to but this expensive shit. I’m sure all your healthy eating doesn’t stop all the ass-kickings you receive on a daily basis by teenagers.
Your own words should tell you a lot. For instance * it’s in every thing* should tell you how the greedy creators of this toxic garbage have infiltrated the food supply. This *expensive shit* was EXACTLY what was grown & what we ate until the greedy creators started to do every thing in a lab,,like creating Frankenstein so a personal garden isn’t out of any ones reach. I could go on educating you but that 4 year degree puts you ahead of me in the education department but I am much happier with my life smarts over book smarts anyway. Your anger could be coming from the crap you ingest but I don’t know you so it’s only a guess. Breathe, calm down and try to focus on what YOU CAN DO not what YOU CAN”T DO and it will all fall into place. As soon as you even think *I can’t* you will fail because you already told yourself you can’t. That is the power of suggestion and if look at all the marketing schemes that power is VERY powerful.
And you studied biochemistry at what university again? Can you explain, in basic chemical terminology, what monosodium glutamate IS?
The sun is essentially a giant carcinogen. Are you going to NEVER STAND IN THE SUNLIGHT AGAIN?
This article makes a lot of sensational claims that have no real significance.
Any rational person would be much more concerned about getting listeria from “organically grown vegetables,” or getting trichinella from pork loins than eating supposedly carcinogenic chemicals that may cause cancer when consumed in quantities exceeding ounces per day.
So stop being a sensationalist and start being rational. You’re going to die of heart failure, kidney disease, or cancer no matter who you are or what you eat.
Yeah! Go for that “what kind of authority are you?!” argument. That’s what victimization and responsability free consuming is all about. Learn to trust your heart dude, otherwise you’ll limit your thinking to whatever authorities allow you to.
I am no biochemist and that havent kept me from learning about what is in my Soy sauce.
You don’t have to be a doctor to learn about drugs, don’t have to be nutricionist to learn about nutrition. You don’t have to be an advertiser to learn the tricks by wich propaganda makes a fool out of us.
Permit yourself to know stuff.
The reductionism in science was probably made for the purpose of “having no one allowed to know about everything” and by that I mean, no one is scientist+nutricionist+chemist+doctor+advertiser+lawyer wich means no one could know nothing about many things. C’mon the world is not divided in parts, it’s a whole! Don’t tell me I can only know about what I’m graduate on. This is disempowering.
This kind of article really is annoying. First of all, these foods aren’t foods you should “NEVER EAT AGAIN”. Rat poison is something you should never eat. The beer you drink after a hard day’s work, which contains BHA/BHT, isn’t going to do anything to you. In fact, who’s to say if it doesn’t do you some good! I’ve also read about how some of those things (e.g. MSG) aren’t the POISON they are made to be. I would venture to say that most/all of them, are demonized because a small percentage of folks have a bad reaction to it. There are those with severe peanut allergies… that doesn’t make peanuts a danger to be avoided (for the rest of us).
What you say makes sense, everything in moderation right? You still need to put forth the information because there are people that eat nothing but this stuff. So I would say people that consume a lot of these ingredients are the ones that have the highest risk.
John Lee, I guess the point to think about is: This stuff is not even food! Would you eat diesel? Petroleum? Would you eat aluminum extraction by-products? Well this stuff is mostly made out of things we would no eat unless they were hidden inside a plastic with the name “food” on it. Look for the saturday night live sketch named “Almost Pizza”, ha, that’s the message.
So basically… Nothing at the supermarket is good for us?…
I’ll try to avoid things like sodas and other artificial junk, but I’m not going to spend my life by a strict diet. Exercise can counter the negative effects of what we eat.
Oh my goodness, exercise absolutely does not counter act the effects of man made chemicals nor does it have anything to do with these harmful chemicals. They attack our bodies at a cellular level. You can sweat out some toxins but don’t get confused about the two.
Excerise can’t magically erase the effects of carcinogenic ingredients. Sorry. Excerise is not an excuse to start eating nitrates and red 4.
so if its bad to eat cereal, candy, juice, pop, fast food, bread, lunch meat, fries, salad dressing, baked goods, microwave meals, Chinese food, pizza, soup or canned beans than what are we suppose to eat?!?! I cant even eat a salad because you cant put salad dressing on it. Is it possible to survive on only certain kinds of lettuce and some fruits and vegetables? I don’t even think its possible to change a lifestyle since food companies have addicted us to this junk and made it to where its easier to buy the junk than to eat organic, which is expensive and hard to find.
I always find making homemade dressings taste far superior than prebottled dressings. That way you are avoidng preservatives, processed oils and sugar. Preparing food from scratch gives you control over the ingredients being used. Also, if you are going to buy snacks just make sure they are organic, that way you’re not eating the above ingredients. There are so many options! Try out the blog “Oh She Glows”, it will blow your mind!
Good luck Beth!
Cheers,
Jeff
I’m not sure about USA organic laws but I found some ingredients in organic processed foods here in Brazil could also be transgenic. I’ve recently bought an organic juice (nectar, water+sugar+fruit) wich had citric acid. Citric acid is mostly made out of a black transgenic mold wich is feed corn syrup, for example.
So even organic processed food labels deserves our attention. Gratitude for the post man!
Love
Of course it’s possible to survive without this stuff. The only point to think about is that natural is better. You can still eat vegetables, fruit, grains and other natural things. The most important things that is, that which actually is food. This article just says that what ever is more produced is in general worse for us.
“Food companies have addicted us to this junk” Excuse me Beth, this you’ve said, I must point, puts you in a victim position. No one has addicted you to anything. We chose to addict ourselvs. And we can choose to change. An edible garden is not hard to find. Think about it, they’ve put junk all over, are you ok with mass poisoning? Do you believe THEY did it to us? I feel responsible for this situation, and I’ll do my best to invest my money on people who are ecologicaly growing food. Afterall, that’s the only food avaliable, all the rest is poisoned food. For real
For most of us, our parents actually created that addiction. Not that we can’t change our habits and break the addiction, but it’s not like most of us started out as clean eaters. I grew up eating cereal, with twinkies, candy, crackers, cookies, and soda. My mom also cooked healthy dinners, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t addicted to sugar and everything else.
That being said, I totally agree that we choose every day whether we continue the addiction or we create the change we’d like to see in the world, as Ghandi says, by avoiding foods that do us harm and investing in organic, as much as our budgets allow.
The attitude of *I can’t* or *what are we suppose to eat* or *they have us so addicted*, limits the ability to DO & THINK for ourselves and that is the real addiction. The addiction of believing you have a choice while only choosing what someone else has decided for you. We have all become complacent little robots in a world of decision makers while making less & less healthy decisions for ourselves. We have put everything pertaining to *self* in the hands of powerful money hungry people that we some how came to believe knew what was right & wrong for us. That attitude needs to be changed first. The fact that we barely think at all anymore should be cause for alarm and cause for change. We have been dummied down in the school system, with main stream news propaganda BS ,& government lies. The biggest dummying down has come from the crap we ingest. Food & pharma are HUGE money makers. Don’t think for one second that the powers that be care at all about you. They only care about your wallet & addictions. So far they are winning the game of life while we struggle with affliction after affliction. Isn’t it time for some game changers?
I’m surprised that bisodium sulfites are not on the list. People can build an intolerance to them which can result in vomiting, diarrhea, severe headaches, and/or go into anaphylactic shock; life threatening!!!
Well, a people will be eating all that until “good food” is not so expensive. You can spend just $15 in the morning for breakfast….some people only have that much left over after paying bills and will keep them from hunger in the morning.
Well look at it this way, You have the option of paying a little more now for healthy food or paying a hell of a lot more later it just depends on whether you spend that on a healthy life style or medical treatment later when you develop an illness or disease. “good food” wont go down in price until there becomes a bigger demand for it. You can also do inexpensive things like plant your own garden and make things like cereal and salad dressing from scratch for next to nothing. BTW water is cheaper than pop. 😉
That’s right!
To the writer, next list and article should be foods that people can choose in the stores to minimize the risk give them a helpful solution 🙂 or anyone as I am no expert in this field..They require help, who’s a leader?
Hey Bud, We have done an article similar to what you are suggesting, check it out: http://www.collective-evolution.com/2014/10/03/9-of-the-best-foods-to-make-a-part-of-your-diet/
How about an article explaining how “organic” foods still use pesticides and the ones they use are highly toxic and no longer inuse by farmers. I agree that we should avoid certain foods but we need to be very clear and fair about how we present these ideals.
that’s probably a trained fake, given the misinformation techniques so often seen in propaganda. Get real with yourself man, working for junk food industry is bad for your children.
And give up the line that only artificial things and chemicals (yep, don’t forget that things like organic foods are not made of chemicals) are dangerous? Who would they demonise if they admitted that things like organic pesticides are still poisons and, in some cases, more dangerous than some of the synthetic alternatives?
That was such a vague, uneducated comment….I’m seriously laughing. You just threw a bunch of negative garbage with no facts into the wind and think people will find you knowledgeable? I grow organic and use nothing ‘toxic’ as a pesticide…..so you are wrong and uneducated in this topic.
Basically no eat NOTHING! have a miserable life, yes, you probably reach 90 years old but feeling unhappy and paranoid about everything.
Less junk in food equals less brain fog, wich could avoid this kind of coment. Organic food is not about long living, wich has so little to do with quality of life. This food culture is so dumbed down people are all around counting calories and more recently, counting years of life.
Clean food is not about living more years, it is about better quality of days. It’s about not feeling heavy after a meal. Simple as that.
You’d be shocked to notice how clearly and smoothly your body/mind functions when you give yourself complete foods. Conventionaly grown food not only has many toxic stuff, it lacks 49 of the 52 nutrients needed for a healthy plant. All the conventional plant will get in most cases is nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. That is enough for a big good looking plant, but that’s all it has to offer, pleasure to the eyes. Not for the third eye aswell.
Just putting it out there that its widely documented that MSG is not the health risk people thought it was, it all stems from a paper written by a now thoroughly discredited chemist, it doesnt harm people and it doesnt carry long term health risks, 5 minutes on google will show you pages and pages in support of that interspersed with the occasional blog like this that pedals yesterdays health scares
A bunch of these are rubbish. For instance, the BVO one assumes that bromine and BVO are identical, which they’re not. The claim is similar to saying we shouldn’t drink water because water contains hydrogen which is highly flammable. The study claiming that (a very limited selection of) artificial sweeteners cause obesity was quickly debunked (though ignoring that obviously suits people who like to publish ridiculous claims like the ones on this page). It doesn’t help that the author has deliberately lied about it anyway – there are many artificial sweeteners out there and the recent study was very severely limited in the sweeteners used, never mind the rest of the approach. The link provided in the article above is to a particularly poor article about the study.
In general, the only sources of evidence for the claims made in this article are other sites making the claims. But people do love to stoke up their fires of self righteousness and have a go at all those evil people out there that are just trying to poison us all (presumably sourcing “safe” food for themselves).
Then again, if these ingredients are able to investigate us secretly (apparently they’re “cunningly sleuth”), then there’s more to worry about.
We really are what we eat, what enters our body effects us enormously, I realized this when I quit smoking after 2 weeks I felt much more energy, so I looked and did some research came across a Paleo diet thought it was interested so I’m following this plan right now, and so far I can concentrate better and I realized my mood is also better and feel healthy in general 🙂 I found this plan below if someone interested in following the paleo plan take care.

That would be nice and all but that’s just the thing a lot of people, can’t afford it. Trust me I would love to be able to afford organic food for me and my family every time we went to the store but it just is unrealistic, and will be for a long time. A better conclusion would have been a healthy alternative that most people can actually integrate into their daily lives. Thanks for the waste of time.
You can’t afford not to drink soda or power ade? Or eat fried foods? Or eat candies with artificial colors? It’s pretty easy and cheap… Frozen veg mix at my grocery store costs 1$ per bag, which has 6-8 servings, while not organic, at least it doesn’t have these ingredients… Same with rice, mad cheap. You can still eat starches, like potatoes if you want, just don’t fry them or buy them pre-made. It’s more affordable than you think to not eat super processed foods…
Absolutely!
I hear ya, Josh – in my city to buy organic one is looking at 4 to 7 times the cost, like a stalk of celery is around $2 at Safeway, but $7 for organic. And I have wasted transit money to go to local farmer’s markets and found pretty much the same thing – several times more than the local crappy chain food store.
And Mickey, it’s likely that if we cannot afford organic, we also cannot afford sodas or power drinks or junk foods or fast foods or any of the “goodies” one consumes when they are in or near poverty.
But, I don’t see reading this article as a waste of time – helpful for those who have enough $$ to have these foods & products in their daily world. 🙂
Organic food doesn’t necessarily mean that it is not processed and does not contain any of these chemicals. If I use organic potatoes that I fry in organic oil at a temperature of 180 degrees celsius the same thing happens as if I would use a regular potato with regular oil.
It says not to eat foods over 120 degrees. Good luck with that guys. I’m not eating raw food for the rest of my life.
It’s amazing that everyone doesn’t know this stuff yet. But, my parents, who grew up on a lot of this stuff, can’t get it out of their diet. It is habit. It makes them feel good. And they are hard nuts to convince that they need to cut it out.
